Refund & Cancellation Policy
Read together with the Terms of Service.
Summary
Subscriptions are billed annually, in advance, and payments are non-refundable except in the specific cases under "When a refund is given" below.
Subscription payments
- The annual subscription fee, plus GST, is charged up front for a full subscription year and is non-refundable once the invoice is paid — including if you stop using convertCall before the year ends.
- Upgrading to a costlier plan mid-year is billed separately, as the prorated difference for the days remaining in the year. That charge, once paid, is likewise non-refundable.
- Downgrading to a cheaper plan does not refund any part of the year already paid. It changes only the price and allowance from your next renewal onward.
When a refund is given
- Duplicate or erroneous payment. If Razorpay records two successful payments for the same invoice, or a payment for an amount that does not match the invoice, we refund the difference in full to the original payment method once we identify it.
- A payment Razorpay confirms but our system never recorded. If this happens, we apply the payment to your invoice or refund it, once the payment is verified with Razorpay.
- Extended failure of the service on our side. If convertCall is unavailable for reasons within our control for a significant part of a paid subscription year, we may issue a pro-rata refund for the affected period, at our discretion, on request.
When a refund is not given
- Deciding you no longer need the service after the annual (or upgrade) invoice has been paid.
- The unused value of a plan you have downgraded from, for the rest of a year already paid at the higher plan's price — the price simply changes at renewal; nothing was overpaid.
- Suspension for non-payment. Nothing is charged for the period after suspension, so there is nothing to refund; paying the overdue invoice resumes service immediately.
How refunds are paid
An approved refund is returned to the original Razorpay payment method. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer, typically 5–7 working days after we process it.
Cancelling your subscription
Cancelling the service entirely is handled by our support team, not a self-service action — see the Terms of Service for exactly what happens to your account and your data. Your account is disabled immediately and your data is erased after a 7-day grace period. Cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund; whether one applies is governed by the sections above.
